The company
Mobile Streams is a global mobile content retailer offering mobile entertainment services. They launched 'Streams blog' to grow their online presence and bring in more organic traffic.
The challenge
When I joined, the blog was barely getting any organic traffic. Posts weren't optimised for SEO, publishing was inconsistent, and search engines essentially ignored it. The job was to fix that — get real traffic and real customers from the blog.
The solution
I researched the audience and built a content strategy in three parts: • SEO: Targeted high-volume, low-competition keywords around marketing, mobile entertainment, and gaming using Ahrefs and SEMrush. Looked for gaps in competitor content and weaved keywords through meta descriptions, headings, and body copy. • Regular updates: Twice-weekly posts covering game reviews, app recommendations, and mobile industry news. • Social promotion: Every post was pushed out on Facebook and Twitter to drive reach and conversation.
The results
Organic traffic to the Streams blog grew 65% versus the previous period. Bounce rate dropped 9.88% — meaning the people coming in were actually the right people. The blog's social following also grew 35%, building a real community around the brand.
